  • I have a circular hole in my wall with a diameter of 4-1/2". Will the rectangular chrome mounting plate cover this opening? Is there a recommended/standard height for the placement of such lights above a bathroom vanity?

  • Is there is recommended standard height to place a fixture above a counter or sink?

    A. Thank you for contacting us about the Designers Fountain 6453-CH. There is no standard height for mounting. Many factors can be considered. Usually the light is placed above the mirror, but depending on how hight the mirror goes you may effect how high the lights themselves should be. In general, you want the light comfortably above the sink so that someone standing in front of the mirror will not have the lights obstruct their view when standing straight up. So at least 6 plus feet above the floor. Hope this info helps!

Very nice The quality/appearance of this item is very nice and it was easy enough to install. I ordered three items in total. Another item arrived with a small chip in the glass. The customer service was excellent -- sent a replacement part right away. I would definitely buy here again and would recommend it to friends. (By contrast, I ordered other items from a big box store. I could not return the items at the location nearby; returned them via mail and am STILL waiting on credit. Not happy with them...) DEFECTS / LIMITED WARRANTY

With the exception of certain series or model numbers which are specifically excluded from the tarnishing warranty and are specified on Designers Fountain’s current price list, Designers Fountain warrants the structure of it products only against defects for one year from date of invoice, tarnishing for six months from date of invoice, and this warranty is ineffective against improper installation and usage or abnormal conditions. Designers Fountain warrants for three months products stored or used in extremely damp areas or areas under abnormal weather conditions, including but not limited to high winds, intense direct sunlight, and acid rain, where products may tend to tarnish easily. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED HEREIN, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE, PERTAINING TO THE PRODUCTS SOLD UNDER THIS AGREEMENT. DESIGNERS FOUNTAIN DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
