American Standard Princeton 2390.202 Technologies / Benefits:

AmericastAmericast: 7 years in the making, Americast’s unique three-layer construction consists of a smooth porcelain-enamel finish on high-quality alloy, backed by an injection-molded structural composite. It offers the same structural thickness and rich enamel colors as cast-iron, but is half the weight, and does a better job at retaining heat, preventing chips / crazing, and absorbing sound.

Deep SoakDeep Soak: This patented overflow system works with an exclusive drain, positioned significantly higher within the bathing well. With water depths reaching 2” to 4” deeper than other whirlpools, Deep Soak tubs allow for better full-body submergence.

Lifetime WarrantyLifetime Warranty with In-Home Service: This tub is covered under the industry’s only Limited Lifetime Warranty with free lifetime in-home service. This speaks volumes to the quality of American Standard tubs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good tub This tub is an excellent buy. It has an incredible coating on it and is very durable. I purchased it because it is not as deep as most tubs. We very rarely ever run a bath, but wanted to keep a bathtub installed in our house, so this tub works excellently.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good for what it is This tub is decent quality and very good for the price. We wanted something inexpensive for a tub that will be rarely used but that would look good with our new off-white tile and colored glass accents. The tub went in fairly easily but at first we were concerned that it was damaged as it had what appeared to be some black chips or scratches in the surface. With water and a towel, this came off with a little rubbing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Squeaks This tub squeaks when you are standing in it. Every step! Very cheap sounding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very serviceable tub I spent a lot of money on my bathroom remodel, and we didn't skimp on fixtures. But, neither of us use a bathtub, so we were unwilling to get anything fancy. I bought this because it was described as a good, solid, stand-up product. I agree. The newer (than cast iron) material feels just like cast iron; the finish is very nice. I am very satisfied.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from How to distinguish between 25 models of this tub Found it difficult to distinguish between all of the models of this tub and bought the cheapest right drain of it. Now I understand... This model is narrow -- only 30". The model with the luxury ledge gives you an extra 4" of space and a ledge along the back wall of the alcove. Bought the tub & drain separately so I could get the special deep overflow drain (which costs about $60 more in total). Check out the deep overflow drain carefully because while the idea is a good one, the design and look is funky. Wish the website had been more clear on the differences among these models of the same tub.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best standard tub in the market This tub has been a staple in the industry for a long time, great construction, light weight and great price
