    A. Thank you for your question. The Weslock 1700J is a Passage set. This set does not lock on either side.

Beautifully Done Knobset I recently replaced all my downstairs doors with solid wood, six panel ones and wanted to replace the doorknobs. I have an oil rubbed bronze faucet (purchased from Faucets Direct) and drawer pulls in my kitchen and was looking for something to match them. I spent allot of time searching the internet for the highest quality, appearance and price. Not only are these every bit as nice as the image projects, they are very weighty, giving the impression of a much more expensive unit. Even the installers asked me where I purchased them because they were so impressed. I would DEFINITELY purchase from handlesets.com again. January 20, 2010
Beautiful Style; Nice Quality These knobs look absolutely fantastic at any price. Definitely adds a really nice touch to our doors and makes them look much more elegant. Friends comment on how nice they look and notice the difference. I was a little nervous at first because the knobs come unattached and you can tell they are hollow. But once they are on the door, they feel solid and high quality. Of course, I'm sure the Baldwin is a more solid feel, but its also 2 or 3 times the cost. Very, very pleased with this purchase. Excellent Craftsmanship I was extremely pleased to have such a qaulity product at this price. It arrived as promised was packaged extremely well and is well worth the time to order versus going straight to the local home depot. Just had three of these installed: privacy, passage and keyed entry in oil rubbed bronze. Product is a very sturdy, weighted door knob and looks wonderful against a hardwood door. Prices at HandleSets are better than at Lowe's or Home Depot for a lesser product. Order was processed professionally and in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend HandleSets to others, as a matter of fact, just did to a builder. I will be coming back to order further door knobs as soon as I install more wood doors. February 10, 2009

Weslock Warranty

Warranties cover the original residential user of Weslock® Products against defects in material and workmanship as long as the original user occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed. This warranty DOES NOT COVER abused or misused products or if a Weslock® Product is used in commercial applications. Upon return of a defective Product to Weslock®, Weslock® shall either repair or replace the Product. Or upon written approval from Weslock® we may refund up to 50% of the purchase price of the product when the defective product and the original cash receipt of the Weslock® product is sent to Weslock®. Weslock® is not responsible for the cost to install the product or any defects caused by incorrect installation.

Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for warranty work or refund.

A finish deterioration occurring from the use or paints, solvents, or other chemicals is not a defect in the finish and is not covered by this warranty. Weslock® is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific c legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
