Webstone Valve 40443PR If you are installing a new water heater and you are going to replace the tank water heater with a tankless water heater, then you need to use the isolation valves. The isolation valves make work easy, also when servicing the unit years down the road the valves makes work a lot easier. September 8, 2008
Be Careful While installing these valves, the service person noticed that a thin "Angel Hair" was being formed and this appeared on each one. When tightened up both valves leaked around the threads regardless of teflon tape. Also since these valves are shipped from the supplier (not Facuetdirect) they took forever to arrive which delayed the install. June 5, 2008
