What do you mean by self priming? When I need to add more liquid soap will I have to unscrew the bottle, which will be located under the sink?

A. The Vigo VG17002 is a top filling pump, so you can just unscrew the top pumping mechanism to fill up the dispenser. Also, self priming simply means that you can pump it a couple of times to load the tube with soap.

How HIGH from the counter-top? Is the entire reservoir steel?

A. The Vigo VG17002 is entirly stainless. It is 9 7/8" tall.
