Is this faucet available with a plate to cover additional holes is sink?

A. The Vigo VG01027 does not come with an escutcheon plate and currently they do not offer one. You would need to find a generic escutcheon plate such as the Danze D493172.

why is this faucet with solid brass construction but so much cheaper than the Grohe or Kohler brass construction faucets, and it has no reting? Is this a good quality faucets, and where is it made? thank you

A. The Vigo VG01027 is cheaper because the names or Grohe and Kohler alone will drive the price up. The list pricing on those items are more expensive then this faucet. This faucet is manufactured in China.

Will this faucet fit in a 1 1/4 inch thick counter top?

A. The Vigo VG01027 should work fine with a 1-1/4 counter top.

I notice this faucet is not "low lead compliant". What does this mean. Is it safe to drink from ?

A. All faucets have a safe degree of lead in them. California and Vermont are more strict in regards to the amount of lead they allow in their faucets. Low lead compliance means these faucets are to meet those standards.

How much space is required behind the faucet for handle clearance?

A. The Vigo VG01027 clearance is 1 7/8"

Does the faucet come with a drain plunger built into it?

A. The Vigo VG01027 does not come with a drain assembly or push rod for the drain.
