  • Does the 1720 include the holders? Is the rod spring loaded or are the holders screwed to the wall?

    A. The USE Plumbing 1720 does not include the holders. They must be ordered separately. Product 1711 and 1140 are both applicable. The mounting holders are screwed into the wall with supplied back plates and screws.

  • Can the 72" rod be cut down for smaller showers, or do I have to purchase a smaller rod?

    A. Yes, the USE Plumbing 1720 can be cut to fit any size opening, however you will need the UP 1547 rod supports easily found on our site. USE recommends using a pipe or tubing cutter.

  • Will this rod fit the USE Plumbing 1547 holders?

    A. Yes, the USE Plumbing 1720 shower rod fits the 1547 holders as well as any other shower rod holders from USE Plumbing.

  • Is the rod one solid piece of metal? If yes, how do you install it with the shower rod holders screwed into the wall?

    A. The USE Plumbing 1720 is a non adjustable one peice. The mounting brackets will hold it tight to wall when pressed together.
