What is the difference between a humidifier that produces Steam and one that sprays water into the heating system? I was looking at the Trion CFS series humidifiers.

A. The method of delivery is different, and the quality of the steam should technically be different. Units that create steam, are going to be less likely to rust, and should provide a more pure, bacteria free steam.
