5 Questions from the Community
Hi I just asked about the depth of this sink and was told it is 5"then I came back to the site and saw the specification sheet and it says it is 7 do you know which one is correct? Thank you again.
Does the drain cover come in polished brass, or would any standard drain cover work with this sink?
Hello, I am custom built my bathroom vanity cabinet smaller because of the space limitation in my bathroom. I am having difficulty now finding a drop in that will fit (I should of thought of that first). My total counter space from the wall to the front of my cabinet is 18" I am thinking this would work with that and leave enough room behind it for my faucet holes, what are your thoughts, do you have other suggestions)
A. The Sterling 442007 will install in the 18" space that you have in your counter, assuming the four inches left over will be enough for your faucet and a bit of trim around the sink itself in the front. There are some narrow lavatory faucets out there, so let us know if you need to locate some, but heres one suggestion: Delta Lahara 2538LF which is 2 3/8" wide.
How thick is the sink edge above the counter top?
What is the minimum cavity opening that this sink needs? I am trying to figure out what the minimum width for the cabinet below?
A. The Sterling 442007 is a great sink- the specs say that it should be 24 inch from that back wall to the front of the sink top, but you may go thinner depending on the faucet. I am sending you a cart with a basic white sink just like the one you asked for-click the sink and go down to the specs for a more precise measurement. I hope this helps and have a great day!
