  • will this use less water than a strom jetted shower head rain style?

    A. The Speakman S-2251 produces 2.5 gpm as do most standard shower heads. Where the differences lie is how each head is designed to work. Although they all put out 2.5 gpm, some feel like a rainstorm, some feel like a water fall, and some feel jetted. Without an exact model to compare to it's safe to say they will all use the same amount of water as long as they're all 2.5 gpm.

  • I'm confused about the restrictor for the S-2251. One answer states it is not a restricted shower head, but other answers indicate that it IS a restricted head but the restrictor is not removable. So is there a restrictor & will this head provide full water pressure?

    A. The Speakman S-2251 is reduced to 2.5 gpm which is standard for all showerheads. Their AutoFlo device compensates for low pressure installations to keep the flow at 2.5gpm.

  • What is "Autoflo Limiter"? Can it be removed for full flow water?

    A. The Speakman S-2251 has an AutoFlo limiter which helps the showerhead compensate in low pressure installations to keep the spray feeling forceful. We do not recommend removing it.
