The popular and exclusive TD series bathroom exhaust kits (for single or dual venting points) or the ultra powerful PV series (also, in single or dual vents) for long or complicated duct runs. All S&P bath kits offer remotely mounted fans featuring a powerful motor mounted in the attic (away from the living space). The result is a Turbo powered fan (much stronger than generally associated with bathroom exhaust) and yet a peacefully quiet operation.

Casing manufactured from high grade pressed galvanized steel, with black baked enamel coating.
Wheel / Impeller factory matched to an external rotor motor and dynamically balanced to eliminate vibration.
Motor equipped with totally enclosed permanent split capacitor and permanently sealed, self lubricating precision ball bearings.

what is the dB or sone level. I need a CFM of 100 and if it come with a humidistate control that would be Great.

A. Because the Soler and Palau KIT-PV100 is a remote in-line fan, there is no sone rating. Remote mounted in-line fans are inherently quiet for a given CFM because the noise-producing fan and motor are isolated from the inhabited space. Please see the Soler and Palau SHW-20 wall mounted humidistat - this unit would work well with the KIT-PV100.

Can this be mounted outside on the roof?

A. No, the Soler and Palau KIT-PV100 can't be installed on a roof. It is meant to be installed in a bathroom ceiling.

How many amps and watts does it draw? Is this design more efficient than the traditional bath fan style?

A. The Soler and Palau KIT-PV100 uses .52 amps and 57 watts. The inline fan is more efficient for use in high static pressure ducted ventilation systems.
