I love it!!!
This is exactly the style I wanted, it wasn't easy to find and yet it was the least expensive of all the lights I looked at. But I didn't buy it because of the low price but because it was the only one that wasn't terribly gaudy and heavy looking. The brown color is perfect, I wouldn't have bought it if it were black. It's simple, classic and looks beautiful in my dining room. I'm very happy!

Great looking light for the price
I looked everywhere for a small chandelier-style light for my foyer. The ceilings are not that high so light height was very important. I purchased lights 3 times the cost of this one and though they were too tall, looks-wise they were just "okay." I bought this light in desperation and I'm so glad I did!
I can feel the difference in workmanship from the other, more expensive lights because those were solid metal and very heavy. This light's arms and center seem to be hollow and it's very light. It doesn't look at all cheap, however. I am VERY particular when it comes to things in my house (champagne taste on a beer budget!) and this light doesn't look cheap or tacky. I got it in the Olde Iron finish. Every visitor we've had since it's been installed has complimented us on it.

Not black like pictured
The light is very simple...just what I was looking for however it is brown not black like shown in the picture which is super annoying. I am not sure if I should send it back and order something else or just live with the color. I really wanted black. They should really change the picture.

Good Value
The color was somewhat surprising... I expected either black or a very dark bronze, but what I got was a rather artificial faux-looking, painted finish. The arms needed to be tightened to hold them in place so that they wouldn't move when dusted. Installation was easy since the light weighs very little. The generous chain length would make this suitable for a very high ceiling, but the whole fixture would probably be lost because of its small size. All-in-all, I'm satisfied with the quality for the price. In any case, it looks vastly better than the monstrosity it replaced.

Great Lamp!
We had been looking for a nice chandelier that would fit our 100+-year-old house that didn't cost a fortune...this lamp is it! We got it in the Olde Iron finish, and it's perfect in our dining room. It was very easy to install as well. The service from Lighting Direct was great too - it arrived within 2 days of my order!

better than I imagined
The package came quickly, all the parts were there and it was easy to install. A bit smaller than I thought, but doable. I am keeping a little extra chain in case a new homeowner needs the slack.

Exactly right
My order was shipped very fast and well packaged. We love the chandelier so much we put it up the very next day (kind of a miracle for us!). Looks GREAT and fits the house decor just right. And you can't beat the price!

LIGHTING FIXTURE WARRANTY: Sea Gull Lighting fixtures and components and electronic products, when properly installed and under normal conditions of use, are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from date of sale. ENERGY STAR Qualified products are warranted for two years.
Sea Gull Lighting at its sole option will repair or replace, F.O.B. Factory, freight prepaid, any Sea Gull Lighting product defective in materials or workmanship. Such replacement is the exclusive remedy against Sea Gull Lighting should any of the products delivered prove defective. Invoices for labor charges and / or charge backs for labor will be denied unless prior written approval is given.Any modification to a Sea Gull Lighting product not made at the factory will void the products’ safety listing (such as UL, ETL, etc or other recognized laboratory) as well as the Sea Gull Lighting warranty policy.
CEILING FAN WARRANTY: Sea Gull Lighting ceiling fans offer a limited LIFETIME warranty to the original owner against defects in material and workmanship. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied and does not cover cost of removing and / or re-installing the fan.
Year one – Sea Gull Lighting will repair or replace this ceiling fan if it is defective due to faulty materials or workmanship. This warranty does not cover the glass portions of this product, nor does it cover damages caused through abuse, improper installation, surges in current, or the acts of third parties.If a warranty claim is made in year one, simply return fan with a copy of the original sales receipt, freight prepaid to Sea Gull Lighting, at its option, shall repair or replace the fan or refund the purchase price.
