I would like to order the B60 & B62 deadbolts. If I choose keyed alike will the B60 & B62 locks be keyed the same.
-
I have a B60N V 505 605 deadbolt lock I purchased a local hardware store. Can I buy more of these locks from you with the same Key Alike number?
A. Yes, we can key this item to your existing locks. You will need to obtain the key code from a lock smith or some keycodes are printed on the keys. Then provide that keycode to us at the time of order placement on the product pages before adding to the cart. Please note that the code listed on the box is not the key code for the keys.
-
Is there a 5 inch backset deadlatch available for this deadbolt?
-
I would like to verify that the Schlage B60 deadbolt does not have the new secure "blue" key technology.
-
do you have door levers that are compatible with this deadbolt
A. The Schlage B60 is the standard deadbolt for Schlage. You could get any of the Schlage levers and it would be compatible. A few examples would be the F51-ACC, F51-FLA, F51-AVA and many more. These three I suggested are all keyed-entry, but you can use a passage with the deadbolt, as well.
-
Does this have a thumb turn on the interior for locking? It does not show in the picture.
-
What is the difference between a double cylinder vs. a single cylinder deadbolt?
-
I want to buy three dead bolts and three lever sets all keys alike. how do I do that?
-
I have a B62 and would like to change it to have a thumbturn on the interior side, is it possible to get just the inerior thumbturn and plate? Are they compatible with the B62 workings? Or do I just have to replace the entire unit with the B60?
A. In order to switch from a Double Cylinder to a Single Cylinder like the Schlage B60 you will need to replace the whole unit. The cylinder on a Double Cylinder is a different length than the Single, so if you just ordered the interior they would not match up.
-
Is it possible to order the Schlage B60 in the bronze color with a passage function (same style handle). I am just trying to cover up the hole in an interior door with a small handle.
-
Can I use this with an F-Series handleset?
-
Can you tell me the exposed dimension of the face?
-
Just purchased two keyed alike door knobs. Can I but a single cylinder deadbolt that is keyed to match?

Finish Care and Cleaning of External Trim
Finishes: 505
(PVD Bright Brass), 605
(Bright Brass), 609 (Antique Brass), 619 (Satin Nickel), 620 (Antique
Pewter), 621 (Distressed Nickel), 622 (Matte Black), 716 (Aged Bronze)
Care Guidelines:
Lacquered or
clear-coated finishes should be wiped with a soft, damp cloth. A mile
soap may be lightly used if very dirty. Particular care should be taken
to avoid paint smears, thinners and strong cleaning agents as they will
quickly destroy the protective coatings and subject the finished to
rapid oxidation and discoloration. Initial care for finishes requires
only periodic cleaning with mild non-abrasive soap and light buffing
with a soft cloth.
Finish: 613
(Oil Rubbed Bronze)
Care Guidelines:
Wipe with a little
vegetable oil on a soft cloth. Too much oil may leave a residue to come
off on the hands. Household detergents and mild abrasive powder may be
used to restore the high metal color without seriously affecting the
original compound of the metal. Then rub with a paste wax.
Finishes: 625
(Bright Chrome), 626
(Satin Chrome)
Care Guidelines:
Wipe with a soft
damp cloth. A high grade chrome polish may be used according to
directions to clean and restore the original shine or satin finish.
