    A. The Progress Lighting P2879 does not come with a ceiling medallion. It does come witha 4" round canopy to the opening.

  • The Progress P2879 does not come with a medallion, but rather a canopy to cover the ceiling wiring. What is a canopy/ Also I am planning to use this light over a kitchen island hanging from a cathedral ceiling. can I purchase extra chain?

    A. The Progress Lighting P2879 comes with a canopy which is a 4" round piece of metal matching the fixture to hide the wiring inside of the ceiling. Progress does not offer any additional chain for this.
