What are the features of a non-over flow drain? Can you adjust it so you can fill the sink with water or is it always in the "empty" mode? We would want a drain where you could actually fill the sink.

A. Veesel sinks in general do not have an overflow hole. If a sink has an overflow hole you can still fill the sink up but it normally does not allow you to fill past that hole.

For the sink to sit flat on the counter the hole cutout diameter on the counter needs to be 2.5", correct?

A. The Premier Copper Products VO17WDB is designed to sit flat on the counter & so you would only need the standard drain hole & the recommended silicone to complete your install.

A bit deeper than advertised Vessel looks great and appears to be of high quality. It measures 6 inches in depth, rather than the 5 inches called out on the catalog pages. This bothered us initially, but we can make the adjustment. June 28, 2010
