Does it matter of one uses a two hole kitchen faucet or a three hole, what's the difference?

A. The Premier 2012020 can be installed as either a one or three hole installation, depending on if you use the escutcheon plate or not. The difference is how many holes are drilled in your counter top. A common three hole installation will have one hole for the faucet itself, and either one for each handle, or a single control handle and an accessory such as a soap dispenser or side spray. The number of holes is going to be determined by how many holes are drilled in your counter top and then you will need to order a corresponding faucet.
