does the pull out spray head button have an on/off mode or is it just spray when you hold the button down

A. If you push the spray button it will remain in spray mode until you push it a second time to switch modes, you do not need to hold the button down.

Does the faucet have the ability to install an aerator to achieve 1.7 to 1.5 gpm?

A. The Premier 120438 unfortunately cannot be used with a 3rd party aerator, and it has a flow rate of 2.2GPM
