Is this oiled rubbed bronze finish a dark brown matte? Some oiled rubbed bronze finishes I've seen are quite shiny.

A. It is a matte finish. Not shiny.

on this model do you ahve to use the cover plate? also what is the difference in the lead free

A. The Premier 120112LF does not require the plate be installed with it. The lead free just means it complies with the California and Vermont low lead laws.

Is the Oil-rubbed bronze a living finish? If so, do you have any darker finishes with a PVD coating?

A. The Premier 120112LF is a living finish. Oil Rubbed Bronzes or Venetian Bronze, any manufacturer's rubbed type Bronze finishes will be specified as living finishes and do not have PVD coatings. We apologize for any inconvenience.
