    A. The NuTone 765HL heater and fan functions can function independently from each other. The compatibility with this item and older dial controls is dependant on the model # of the dial control.

    A. The NuTone 765HL can be used with the Broan 66W. That would be in white the Broan 66V will be in ivory.

Really a good product. I ordered this unit because it most nearly fit the location of my old worn out HVL. The unit looks good in place, was easy to install and pleases my wife. Pleasing my wife was very important. Overall very happy with the unit and will install another in my other bathroom. April 23, 2011
Nice Unit Very prompt delivery. It did require a little larger hole that the 20 yr. old unit it replaced. While it is larger than our old unit it does not seem cumbersome in appearance after installed. The heater puts out an extra boost of heat when first turned on for speedier initial warm-up of room then settles down; so no early warm-up is needed. I really like the fact that it will take 100 watt bulb for brighter lighting. I chose this model for the exhaust fan capacity, lower noise level rating than some units, and obviously the heater, as well as the bright light. While it is not whisper quiet I think it's a little bit quieter than our old one. It has just been installed for 2 weeks. So far all is well & I would purchase this model again. April 23, 2011
Good value Put in as a replacement (not new construction), went in easily. Heater is great on cold mornings. Exhaust fan keeps bathroom walls from getting wet after long hot showers, mirrors don't fog anymore. So far I'm very pleased with product, hope it lasts a long time. April 23, 2011
Great Product We are doing renovations of both our bathrooms. We wanted a light/fan/heater combo. This one is excellent! It gives a lot of light so in our smaller bathroom we did not need over the mirror lighting, nor a light in the shower stall. The fan is quiet and the heater is very warm and has an adjustable vent that can be turned to direct the heat where you want it. We liked it so much we are purchasing a second one for the family bathroom. April 18, 2011

Excellent product for new work This product looks and works great. I installed it in a finished Bathroom. The problem I had was that it is made to install in a new installation, with the beams existing. I had to modify it and install it from above in the attic. Not a easy chore, but we are happy with the end result. December 6, 2010

One Year Limited Warranty

Broan-NuTone warrants to the original consumer purchaser of its products that such products will be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of original purchase. THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

During this one-year period, Broan-NuTone will, at its option, repair or replace, without charge, any product or part which is found to be defective under normal use and service.THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT EXTEND TO FLUORESCENT LAMP STARTERS AND TUBES. This warranty does not cover (a) normal maintenance and service or (b) any products or parts which have been subject to misuse, negligence, accident, improper maintenance or repair (other than by Broan-NuTone), faulty installation or installation contrary to recommended installation instructions.

The duration of an implied warranty is limited to the one-year period as specified for the express warranty. Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

BROAN-NUTONE'S OBLIGATION TO REPAIR OR REPLACE, AT BROAN-NUTONE'S OPTION, SHALL BE THE PURCHASER'S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY.
