  • I have four newport brass bathroom faucet with the "hot" and "cold" handles. Each one has come off or broken. Do you offer replacement Hot/cold buttons?

  • What is a deck plate? Do the ceramic handles say "Hot" & "Cold"? I can't tell from the picture.

    A. The Newport Brass 930 does not have any lettering on the ceramic handles to indicate hot and cold. A deck or escutcheon plate is the plate that rests between some faucets and the sink. They are more common in center set faucets than wide spreads.

Beautiful Faucet I recently purchased this faucet to go along with a white cottage style bathroom vanity with a white marble top. I wanted something that appears vintage but still classic and streamlined. I debated about a gooseneck faucet, but I think this looks cleaner and visually takes up less space. I couldn't make a decision on finishes, and a customer service rep was extremely helpful in helping me to narrow it down. I ended up going with the brushed nickel finish. It is slightly brighter and lighter than my other brushed nickel accesories from Pottery Barn but still looks great. April 20, 2011
Nice faucet, but could be better I purchased this faucet in the weathered copper finish for a guest bathroom redo. The faucet is nice, but has several annoying flaws. 1. The valve body is made in germany and is flawless. The drain assembly is made in Mexico and is flawless. It is the American part that I have a problem with. 2. The spout is misaligned on the spout shank by about 10 degrees. The spout also has a 1cm dent in the metal that was obviously there when the finish was applied. These flaws will not be noticeable where I am installing the faucet, so I'm not going to worry about. 3. The bottom of the hexagonal valve-body bonnet has several nicks resulting in the surface not being smooth. When this hexagonal part is screwed down on the round valve-body escutcheon, it could scratch the surface and be noticeable. This was remedied by gently rubbing the bonnet base across fine emory cloth and applying a thin film of oil to the top escutcheon surface before assembly. No big deal, but it could have been. In summary, this is a nice faucet. It is not "flawless beauty from faucet to finish", like the ads say. At nearly $600, I do not think it is worth twice the price of Kohler. October 14, 2011

NewportBrass Warranty

Newport Brass currently offers 33 different metal finishes on it's products. These finishes are applied by the Newport Brass plating and painting departments. Color samples are shown on this web site.

Newport Brass finishes are warrantied 10 years with these exceptions:

Lifetime Warranty Finishes:
Forever Brass (01) PVD
Polished Chrome (26)
Oil Rubbed Bronze (10B)
Stainless Steel (20) PVD
All 10 of our Powder Coated Paint finishes - White, Almond, Bone, Black, Red, Flat Black, European White, Biscuit, Simulated Wrought Iron and Hammered Antique Copper.

The following uncoated finishes carry no warranty:
Polished Brass Uncoated (03N)
Weathered Brass (03W)
Weathered Copper (08W)

Kitchen, bath, or lavatory drains of all types, due to abuse to which they may be subjected, are warrantied as follows:
Powder coated colors, Polished Chrome (26), Satin Chrome (26D), Oil Rubbed Bronze (10B), Forever Brass (01), Satin Brass (04), or Stainless Steel (20) have a one year warranty.

In all other finishes - no warranty on the finish for these products.

Ceramic disc valves (lavatory, tub/shower, and roman tub valves), have a lifetime warranty. Other valve types (balance pressure, termostatic, etc) are warrantied for one year from date of purchase on mechanical operations.

Product problems attributable to abuse, misuse, improper installation, hard water, maintainence or accidental damage are not covered by this warranty. No repairs or replacements will be made under such circumstances except at customer's expense. Liability under all warranties or implied is limited to replacement of defective goods only.
