Are the shades a different color depending on your selection of the bronze or steel? The photos seem to indicate the shades are darker on the bronze, but the spec sheet says they are both "white opal".

How far off the base/wall is the center of the shade? I am wondering how deep a medicine cabinet I can have if these are to go above.
