Does the Double Handle Roman Tub Trim Kit (Moen T943) requires a separate valve kit?
What's the distance from handle to handle?
what is a trim kit...... and how would i determine which one fits where my existing faucet is?
A. Thank you for your question. A trim kit refers to the ornate part of a plumbing fixture that is actually seen and touched by the user. The way you can tell if the Moen T943, or any faucet for that matter, will fit where your existing faucet is by the centers. What the 'center' measurement is, is the distance from the center of the left handle to the center of the right handle (basically the two outermost parts of the sink that will need drilling into the sink or counter top in order to make a connection with the water supply). For example the Moen t943 has multiple centers because the handles are not attached to the spout.
