10 Questions from the Community
Does this require purchasing a drain and overflow?
A. It requires the purchase of a rough in valve, either 4992 or 4993. The drain assembly for the tub is usually purchased with the tub because when you are installing the tub you have access to it. If you are doing all new plumbing you may certainly purchase one, just put in tub waste in the search bar. You may also choose to just purchase the two parts that show, which would allow you to change the finish without changing the pipes behind the tub. You could look at Moen T90331, as an example.
Does this require purchasing a drain and overflow?
Is the chrome trim a mirror finish. The pictures appear to be a satin finish. I am looking for a mirror chrome finish
What do I need to install the Moen T4943BN faucet using polybutylene tubing? Also, does this come with a pop up drain?
A. There is no particular type of tubing required for the Moen T4943, however, if you are intending to use plastic tubing (as opposed to copper), Moen recommends using the 4993 rough in valve. Also, there is no pop up drain because this faucet is for a tub and typically a pop up would come with the tub in question. I hope this helps.
could you please e-mail instructions for installing this roman tub faucet/ valve Moen T4943
Do I need to but a rough in valve if i am just changing the spout and handles? I already have the tub installed and am just changingf the handle styles.
What is the difference between the T933 and the T4943?
We currently have omen fixtures and just to replace the outdated ones. Can we just screw off the old and replace with this without having to deal with the plumbing under the tub?
If I haven't bought my tub yet and I am getting in the future a jacuzzi tub, will this faucet work?
Can a shower be added to this? If so, what additional parts will be needed?
A. Greetings Regee, thank you for your question. The Moen T4943 cannot have a sprayer added. However, you can order the Moen T924 and the sprayer is included. If I can offer any other assistance please let me know. I would be happy to help you place this order and offer any discounts I have available to me. Joel:0)
