    A. The four body sprays on the Moen 263 Vertical Spa can be installed anywhere in the unit. However, the farther from the valve that they are installed the more reduced the pressure will be. The optimum range from the valve will be 12-20 inches.

  • I was anticipating the 263 model to be a flat oblong handle - not the "L" shape handle as depicted here. Is there a reason for this?

    A. The Moen 263 handle is designed that way because of the cartridge behind the trim. The handle is push/pull and it comes out towards you.

    A. Unfortunately the 263 model has the 3330 or the 3320 valve, designed to have two products installed only.

    A. The Moen 263 will work with any handshower, but I would suggest using a Moen handshower so the finishes match. You might want to look at the Moen 3867 handshower.

    A. The Moen 263 depends on the valve you buy to determine whether or not they can all be used, the valve that is recommended with the purchase will enable you to do that.

    A. The valve you use for the Moen 263, depends on what type of plumbing pipes you have in your house. The 3330 rough in valve is compatible with copper pipes and the 3320 is compatible with threaded steel pipes.

  • Can you install your shower head in the ceiling with this faucet and if so how many elbows are you allowed to use from the shower valve to the head?

    A. Yes, you can use the flange that comes with this package with either the Moen 226651 or the 116651 straight shower arm for a ceiling mount. As for the inner plumbing, you would need to ask your plumber what would be appropriate.

NIce looking I bought this hoping for the best and got it it took just a little time to figure out but if you have any expierience at all you can do this your self. The one thing that was confusing to me was the white plastic ring that is approx. 1/2" in diam. goes in the top valve to keep it in the on posisition if you fail to do this you can actually turn the water flow on and off from both valves not how it is supposed to be. Water on and off and temp control from the bottom and water diverter on the top June 3, 2010
Fastest delivery! Not quite installed,but like appearance. Per plumber, has required few extra parts to install the valve with existing pipes. We are using 2 body sprays instead of 4 as small walk in shower only. We shopped mult sites for price and return policy--faucetdirect the best on these. great product received the product in only a couple days-got the transfer valve with it(a must). very intimidating directions at first but eventually figured it out. have had a moderate amt. of experience with plumbing and would definitely NOT recommend doing plumbing yourself unless you have had at least a moderate knowledge and an excellent resource person. took us 1 1/2 days to plumb entire thing. haven't used it yet-but so far am very impressed with the overall look and quality of the product compared with the price March 30, 2010
Great Purchase I recently purchased this item for our master bath shower....it has yet to be installed, but we are very pleased with the look of the item. It is exactly what we are looking for and for a fraction of the cost. The only advice I would offer to someone buying this product would be to BUY THE ROUGH IN VALVE....the item does not come with it, and it is very difficutl to find otherwise (you have to find a plumbing distributor that distributes MOEN products, and this valve in particular) February 7, 2010

Moen Limited Lifetime Warranty

Moen® products have been manufactured under the highest standards of quality and workmanship. Moen warrants to the original consumer purchaser for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home (the "Warranty Period" for homeowners), that this faucet will be leak and drip-free during normal use and all parts and finishes of this faucet will be free from defects in material and manufacturing workmanship. All other purchasers (including purchasers for industrial, commercial and business use) are warranted for a period of 5 years from the original date of purchase (the "Warranty Period" for non-homeowners). This warranty is applicable only to faucets purchased after December 1995 and shall be effective from the date of purchase as shown on purchaser's receipt. Faucets purchased prior to December 1995, Moen warrants to the original consumer purchaser that this faucet will be leak and drip free during normal domestic use for as long as you own it. If this faucet should ever develop a leak or drip during this time, Moen will FREE OF CHARGE provide the parts necessary to put the faucet back in good working condition.

Moen warrants to the original consumer purchaser all other aspects of this faucet to be free from defects in material and workmanship for two (2) years from date of purchase except for decorator finishes which are warranted for (1) year from date of purchase. A replacement for any defective part will be supplied free of charge for installation by the consumer. Defects or damage caused by the use of other than genuine Moen parts are not covered by this warranty.
