Love the fixture
Takes 100 watt bulbs and I have a dimmer, so it is great to have lots of light when needed and turn lower for dining.
This chandelier has a contemporary feeling. It is listed as "Asian theme" which would work well too, but I would call it Transitional/Contemporary, My home is a ranch with transitional furnishing.I also liked the black finish for that transitional feel.
My actual dining area is small (10x11) but open to larger area, I chose this full size (25") chandelier, but also chose because lights are near the bottom of fixture so it could be hung quite high. It would have overwhelmed this small area if hung close to eye level. It makes the small area look larger. When I bought the house it had a small. three light chandelier which emphasized the small size of the dining area. Now it does not because larger chandelier incorporates surrounding area and illuminates larger ceiling area.

good decision
fixture was purchased for my dining room and works very well. installed very easy. also bought larger fixture for my foyer to match. excellent quality. Plan to purchase other fixtures from this collection for dinette and kitchen.

surely worth the money
Both chandelier and two sconces for dining room.Those came very fast in secure packaging,
Nice brushed nickel finish and good looking glass.
One of sconces had a blemish on its finish but
was replaced - hassle free by lightingdirect.com.
Overally very satisfied with the purchase and dealing with seller.

Classy looking chandelier
Overall a beautiful chandelier. Only problem was that the way the glass lamps affixed to the base made the chandelier appear a little lopsided. No amount of adjusting made it "perfect." We decided to live with it.

Looks Great!
I love that this light is nice and bright. We only have the chandelier in the dining room and the previous light was too dim. This one uses 5 100-watt bulbs and fully illuminates the room. Now we can see what we're eating. The light is economical, and *way* better looking than Big Box Store lighting. Goes great with our transitional decor.
The only con was that the electrical cord got all twisted up when we installed it--you have to shove the cord through a tiny hole and pull and cajole it. It's still twisted more than it should be, but we got it working and it's great. Also, if you plan to use it with a dimmer, make sure your dimmer can handle this light's voltage.
