Kwikset 81845 6-Way Plain Latch Service Kit
The Kwikset 81845 contains a round and square corner faceplates, along with a drive-in collar with back-plate. These options along with the variety of finishes provided enable the finished look of your choice for privacy and passage ways.
Plain Latch: Used generally on interior doors such as hallways and children's bedrooms which doesn't allow for the door to be locked.

We have the 730H Kwikset Hancock privacy knobs with the drive-in latch. Our existing doors have been mortised for a square face plate. Will the face plates provided in this kit work with this doorknob?
A. If you have the 6-Way core, then the Kwikset 81845 service kit will provide everything you need to convert from drive-in to square corner. However, if you do not have that, then you will want to get the Kwikset 81847 6-Way core for each of your knobs in addition to the service kit.

Warranties cover the original residential user of Kwikset Products against defects in material and workmanship as long as the original user occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed. This warranty DOES NOT COVER abused or misused products or non-commercial products used in commercial applications.
If a covered defect occurs, email or call 1- 800-327-LOCK (5625) for further assistance. A finish deterioration occurring from the use of paints, solvents or other chemicals is not a defect in the finish and is not covered by this warranty.
