    A. The Kwikset 802AN-LIP is a dummy that just screws into the door and does not accommodate a bore hole.

  • Does this Dummy set (802AN-LIP ) come without the Dummy dead bolt?

    A. The Kwikset 802AN-LIP comes with a dummy deadbolt plate (which does not have a key cylinder) to cover any hole that was drilled for a deadbolt.

  • Can you please tell me the handle measurement?

    A. The Kwikset 802AN-LIP handle is 11" from the hole of the door and the bottom mount. No other dimensions are necessary for installation as the deadbolts are not attached pieces and can mount wherever you wish.

  • Does a dummy function? What good is it? I need to replace my exterior set but it needs to function.

    A. The Kwikset 802AN-LIP is just an exterior dummy trim. Dummy units do not function except as a pull and are generally used to complete a look on double doors.

    The functioning version is the Kwikset 800AN-LIP and you need a 966 series interior pack to complete it.

Great Quality Great Quality, fast shipping service and easy install as I was replacing a similar handle. The finish is of high quality. October 31, 2009
Worse than working side Again poorly made compred to my 8 year old set. Sanp together is a joke. The dummy dead bolt portion that is outside was severly dented and marked up. Was going to use the old portion but it was held together with real screws and would not swap. August 2, 2008

Warranties cover the original residential user of Kwikset Products against defects in material and workmanship as long as the original user occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed. This warranty DOES NOT COVER abused or misused products or non-commercial products used in commercial applications.
