  • Is this both sides of the dummy or just one knob? I need a knob for both sides of my french doors. i don't know if I should be ordering 4 knobs or two??? Thanks

  • What is on the opposite side of the knob? Is there circular plate covering the hole if used in a closet?

    A. The Kwikset 788H is a single dummy. There would be nothing on the other side of the door.

Excellent Hardware I have replaced all of the door hardware in a couple of houses and this product is the best I have ever used. Great purchase I bought these dummy door knobs to replace the plastic ones in my mobile home. They look great and I am really pleased with them. The installation instructions need to be revamped. They do not give an explanation as to how to latch the knobs together. It took a bit of figuring out, but I am glad I have them. May 10, 2010
Very Wise Decision I am very pleased with the appearance and service of this door knob. I would and have recommended it to a friend. I made a mistake and under ordered this by 2 items. Kwikset Single Dummy Knobsets I replaced the cheap white knobs on the bifold doors hiding the washer/dryer area off our kitchen. The new knobsets are a beautiful, black matte patina like the rest of the cabinet knobs. The Kwikset Dummy Knobsets were very easy to install and look beautiful! June 23, 2008
