Brooklane Keyed Entry Door Lever Set with SmartKey By Kwikset

Signature Series Brooklane Keyed Entry Door Lever Set with Smart Key Cylinder. Exquisite curves are incorporated into this sweeping design. It is at home in both contemporary or classic settings. This single cylinder lever, equipped with SmartKey technology, locks/unlocks with a key from the outside and a turn button on the inside. There is an optional kit available for 2-1/4" thick doors, see product ID 81714.

  • Key it Yourself: Lock is rekeyable by using the included learn tool in less than 30 seconds without removing the lock from the door.
  • SmartKey cylinders also feature a stainless steel side locking bar, racks and pins for increased strength and security.
  • Features a fully adjustable latch to fit all standard door preparations

  • If we order keyed alike do you need my key? is there a charge?

    A. You are able to select keyed alike and all they keyed items will be keyed to the same key. If you want the items keyed to a key you already have, you will have to enter your key code in the box given. There is not additional charge to have the locks keyed alike.

  • What are the options for deadbolts that go with this lever?

    A. Kwikset does offer a combo back similar to this handle style: 991LL.

Nicely crafted handle set This is an excellent product, nicely crafted, with a hefty feel and fine finish. The mechanisms open and close easily and smoothly. The only issue: my contractor did not use the Kwikset doorplate installation screws because he says they're too "...weak and break easily". He used his own, longer and heftier screws. He installs doors regularly for Home Depot, so I assume he speaks from experience. November 29, 2010

Warranty Info

Warranties cover the original residential user of Kwikset Products against defects in material and workmanship as long as the original user occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed. This warranty DOES NOT COVER abused or misused products or non-commercial products used in commercial applications.

If a covered defect occurs, email or call 1- 800-327-LOCK (5625) for further assistance. A finish deterioration occurring from the use of paints, solvents or other chemicals is not a defect in the finish and is not covered by this warranty.

Kwikset is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Mechanical and finish warranties are different for each Kwikset brand. One or more brands may be installed in your home (for instance, Kwikset UltraMax Signatures™ on the front door and Kwikset Maximum Security® on interior doors).
