  • How do I specify left hand or right hand?

    A. The Kwikset 730 PML is a reversible handle. You will be able to install it either L/R handed.

  • How can we find a key code for a Kwikset 730PML? The contractor didn't leave one.

    A. The key code can sometime be found on the key itself. It would be a 5 or 6 digit number. Another option is taking the key to a lock smith and asking them to make a key, and give you the key code as well. Some locks smiths will do that, others will not.

  • how do you remove the hadle

    A. The Kwikset 730PML and most handles can be removed by taking a flat head screwdriver, inserting it below the trim ring and pulling back a little. There should then we a screw that is exposed in which you can unscrew and remove the handle. You may want to call Kwikset technical support for further assistance.

    A. The Kwikset 730PML is a privacy door. If you are needing a "non-lock" lever you will need a dummy or a passage lever

    A. The Kwikset 730PML-15A is actually an Antique Nickel nickel finish.

If a covered defect occurs, email or call 1- 800-327-LOCK (5625) for further assistance. A finish deterioration occurring from the use of paints, solvents or other chemicals is not a defect in the finish and is not covered by this warranty.
