  • How do I take it apart when it is installed so I can disasemble it

    A. To remove the Kwikset 720H you need to first loosen the outer ring you will need a flat head screw driver. Then there is a little notch in the ring and you insert the flat head screw driver and turn the alignment ring. After which you should be able to remove the knob.

  • The Kwikset 720 H in Black Iron, can we get an inside the closet knob?

    A. This can be used on a closet. If you only want to get the single dummy for one side of the door you can get the 788H.

  • Are the strike plate corners radius or square? Looks radius, but I want to make sure before I order.

    A. The Kwikset 720H does include the round corner strike plate.

  • Does this come with 2 knobs, one for either side of the door? Is there a lock/unlock keyless feature?

    A. The Kwikset 720H comes with both sides but has no locking mechanism. You would need a privacy set if you want a locking feature.

  • What is the difference in the kwikset hancock and the kwikset juno collection?

    A. The Kwikset 720H is from the Hancock and it looks different than the Juno series.

  • does this set have a drive-in version, without the plate? For hollow doors.

    A. The Kwikset 720H will include a drive in latch, as well as the latches with the plate.

  • ARE BOTH SIDES OF A HANCOCK PASSAGE SET THE SAME CONFIG. AND WILL THEY HOOK -UP TO THE LOCKING SIDE OF A HANCOCK PRIVACY SET

    A. Both sides of the Kwikset 720H are the same configuration. They will not connect properly with half of a privacy configuration knob set, however, as the exterior portion of that set contains an emergency release.

  • Does this lockset come in brass and chrome knobs for a bathroom application?

    A. The Kwikset 720H is available in polished brass and chrome! If you're looking to split finish, please contact customer service to do a split finish request.

saved money I live in Canada and paid about 1/2 for what I would have paid for the same product in a big box hardware store in Canada. Thanks to American friends was able to have doorknobs shipped to them and they brought them to me on a visit. Handlesets was fast in their delivery and I got exactly what I wanted. Great Product Easy to install Title says it all. This is a great product which is very easy to install. We have a 1940's Doelger home and recently decided to replace all the knobs and hinges. Great Find I had searched everywhere for the perfect rustic bronze knobs for our house and finally found them at Handlesets. They are moderately-priced making them affordable, and are of excellent quality. They were promptly shipped and the order, although extensive, was complete and accurate. Great purchase. The door knobs are truly beautiful and look wonderful on my doors. I live in a mobile home that had ghastly plastic door knobs and these make the place look like a palace in comparison. Although the instructions could be a bit more in depth they were easy to install. May 10, 2010

Warranties cover the original residential user of Kwikset Products against defects in material and workmanship as long as the original user occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed. This warranty DOES NOT COVER abused or misused products or non-commercial products used in commercial applications.

If a covered defect occurs, email or call 1- 800-327-LOCK (5625) for further assistance. A finish deterioration occurring from the use of paints, solvents or other chemicals is not a defect in the finish and is not covered by this warranty.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Mechanical and finish warranties are different for each Kwikset brand.
