  • Does this door lever have a latch handle on the inside?

    A. The product ID just designates the exterior trim. To have a complete working handleset you must also select an interior trim. Select the finish you would like for the exterior trim and press the add to cart button. This will bring you to the next screen which shows you the interior trim options. As long as you select an interior trim, you will receive a complete handleset.

  • our current door handle has a major scratch and want to only replace the front side of the door only. If I order the product in the venitian bronze, is it compatible with the inside hardware which is the antique brass?

    A. The Kwikset 687DA-LIP should be compatible with your interior portion as long as it is the correct model number. The model number of the interior should start with 604. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Good quality at a bargain price I bought this Handleset in Antique Nickel to replace a broken Polished Brass one that had turned an awful tarnished color. This handle looks very nice on my red door. It was very easy to install as a replacement. The mounting screw was not an exact match to the previous handle but this one covered up that screw hole so it wasn't an issue. I also had to touch up the paint around it as it wasn't the same shape...next time I paint my front door I will remove the hardware first instead of painting around it.. but this was not a big deal as I love the way this one looks. Has a good feel when you grab it and very smooth operation also. April 10, 2010

Perfect Replacement My old handles (20 years) looked very bad. I wanted to replace them with polished brass without drilling new holes. Kwikset informed me that model was no langer available. After much searchiing locally and finally on the web, I ordered this product as well as the dummy to go with it. Installation was a breeze and they look great. I informed my local locksmith about your web site and they put a notice up in their store about your company. July 25, 2009

Great product This handleset worked perfectly with my existing inside door handle and deadbolt switch. I only had to buy 2 screws from my local hardware store to make it attach. It looks fantastic! I also sprayed it with a clear lacquer before installation to protect it from Florida weather. After a new paint job with a foam roller, my front door looks brand new! July 25, 2009

Warranties cover the original residential user of Kwikset Products against defects in material and workmanship as long as the original user occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Mechanical and finish warranties are different for each Kwikset brand.
