Kwikset Maximum Series Delta Single Cylinder Panic-Proof Keyed Entry Door Lever Set

A clean, streamlined design, Delta fits a whole range of decorating styles beautifully, from traditional and ranch to contemporary. Designed for your entryway, this knob is easy to install and locks/unlocks both sides with a key on the outside or the turn button on the inside. Inside lever is always free, which means while the lever is locked, the interior lever is not fixed and rotates.

  • Interior Rosette has EXPOSED SCREWS and are not concealed on the interior side.
  • Includes Standard Round Corner Strike Plate Part Number 83796 (Strike Plate is on Door Jamb). For Square Corner Strike Plate See Product: Kwikset 83437. For a T-Strike Plate See: Kwikset 83028.
  • There is an optional kit available for 2-1/4" thick doors, see product ID 81706.
  • Panic-Proof Lever Set allows lever to unlock from the interior when rotated without having to use the thumb turn to unlock.

  • Can smart key and non-smart key entry levers and deadbolts be used with the same key? Is there an ANSI grade 1 deadbolt available to use along with this entry lever?

    A. Smart key and non-smart key entry levers and deadbolts can be used with the same key. The Kwikset 980S is BHMA/ANSI Grade 1 certified and is compatible with this entry lever.

  • Can this set be master-keyed?

    A. The Kwikset 406DL can be ordered with a Master Keyed cylinder if purchased along side the "Kwikset Master keying-Kwikset" item on our site. It is per cylinder, so if a number of locks are ordered, the "Kwikset Master keying-Kwikset" must be the same quantity. Thanks!

  • Is this Kwikset compatable with a Weiser for keying them alike?

    A. The Kwikset 406DL and the Weiser locks will not be able to be keyed alike.

    A. As long as your door measurements meet the requirements for the Kwikset 406DL, you should be able to make that replacement work.

Warranty Info

Warranties cover the original residential user of Kwikset Products against defects in material and workmanship as long as the original user occupies the residential premises upon which the product was originally installed. This warranty DOES NOT COVER abused or misused products or non-commercial products used in commercial applications.

If a covered defect occurs, email or call 1- 800-327-LOCK (5625) for further assistance. A finish deterioration occurring from the use of paints, solvents or other chemicals is not a defect in the finish and is not covered by this warranty.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Mechanical and finish warranties are different for each Kwikset brand.
