Product Technologies and Benefits:
- Extra Thick, 16 Gauge Stainless Steel: Short of paying thousands of dollars, 16 gauge is as thick as sinks come (22% thicker than 18 gauge; 36% thicker than 20 gauge). Thicker steel means a stronger sink (hence the lifetime warranty) while also offering a richer and more robust appearance to the finish that is easily discernible from the white-washed, cheap look of thinner sinks.
- Premium Grade T-304 Stainless Steel: There are two primary types of stainless steel in the market: T-409 and the higher quality T-304. The difference lies in chromium and nickel contents; T-409 with 11% and .5% respectively, T-304 with 18% and 10%. When added to steel, these two metals prevent oxidation and rust by neutralizing sodium chloride (salt) – a common element in everyday kitchens. While cheaper sinks use T-409, Kraus sinks boast T-304, further lending to the lifetime warranty.
- Sound Insulated: Sound insulated steel is commonly only thought of in the automobile industry. There, auto manufacturers use spray-on “Stone Guard” insulation to provide for a quieter ride and protect the steel. Borrowing this technology and adding to it, Kraus sinks use Stone Guard insulation, sprayed over rubber sound dampening pads to create a noticeably lower-tone and overall quieter kitchen sink. It also protects your cabinet from underside condensation drips.
- Included Dish Grid (Basin Rack) and Basket Strainer (Drain): It’s a wonder why dish grids aren’t included with all sinks; they serve a valuable role. Not only do they virtually eliminate scratches, they allow the sink to properly drain, preventing sink scum and protecting your cutlery. As with most Kraus kitchen sinks, this sink includes the stainless steel sink grid along with the stainless steel basket strainer you’ll need for installation.

Big and Beautiful!
This sink has been on my list for a while and it was NOT a disappointment. It's very large, very deep, and really beautiful. A real conversation starter. The only thing that I don't like is that you always have water stains in the sink...which is pretty typical with ss sinks, I guess. It comes packaged so well and includes lots of extras. It shipped quickly and I'm once again happy with my purchase from faucetdirect. Make sure you have enough room under this large sink, as we installed a garbage disposal and it's pretty tight. Overall very happy. Would recommend!

Best sink ever
I had gone to my local plumbing stores to look at sinks. My remodeled kitchen was going to be modern and I was looking to purchase a 90 degree angled sink. The salesman said that even though the styling on those sinks looks great, cleaning those corners was awful. So I started looking online for sinks that had a modern styling with less severe corners. After reading many reviews on the Kraus sinks, I decided to order it.There is a slight curve to the corner so I had the new granite counter tops cut squarely which gave the look I was after. The sink comes with the grate for the bottom....fabulous. And the depth and width make it so easy to clean even the largest of pans. I would never go back to a divided sink again.

Best 30" Sink Base There Is
I have no complaints about this sink. Everything is as described. All 5 star customer reviews are accurate. Sink comes UPS well packaged. No chance for damage with all the styrofoam used. FaucetDirect.com had the best price for this sink with all the extras. Definately make sure you order with all the extras. Some sellers did not include the wire rack, drain, and cloth. The wire rack is so nice to have and keeps your sink from becoming beat up on the bottom. Sink was shipped right away, only took about a week and a half being on back order. The company send numerous updates letting me know the status of my order. Couldn't ask for better communication. This sink is HUDGE for a 30 inch sink base. I love it. I paired it with an industrial looking spring style sprayer hose and they look great. The sink is super heavy duty for the price and insulated on the back for noise reduction. Way better than a cheap sink from HD. This sink also comes with a template to cut out your countertop. The entire sink comes wrapped in a cool sack that can be used for other storage purposes afterwords. All I can say is this sink definately helped make my kitchen especially with my space constraints and having to use a 30" sink base. This is how you make repeat customers FaucetDirect.com!!!!

Beautiful Sink, but idiotic logo sticker
They go to great pains to ship the sink in such a way as to avoid damage. But, then they intentionally affix a dumb sticker to the stainless steel which detracts from the look of the product and requires significant effort to remove.
The sink comes packed inside a cloth bag, inside a sturdy crate with styrofoam packing. Excellent! The instructions that come with the sink describe how to care for it including a warning to use no abrasive cleaners.
What I do not understand is why did they affix a clear plastic "Kraus" logo sticker on the sink, directly below the Kraus logo which is printed on the stainless steel? (I noticed the product picture shows the printed logo, but not the sticker.) Idiotic! It makes no sense to have two logos on their sink--one printed in black ink and the second logo on a STICKER directly below the printed logo. Then, when you remove the sticker, it leaves behind adhesive residue which looks terrible. I used "Goof Off" and lots of elbow grease to remove the residue. It took me about 30 minutes of work to remove all traces of the sticker. Annoying.

wonderful sink
This sink is beautiful. Well packed no shiping problems. Make sure your cabinets will accommadate this sink. We had installed IKEA Cabinets and because the sink is so low I had to modify the hinges for the cabinets because the hingess hit the sink. But it is huge and a real conversation piece.
