A Lavatory console is a small, often metal and wall mounted vanity. Vanity cabinet refers to those units which are sold without a top, while "vanity" represents those units with a top.

All vanities will fall within two installation types: Floor Standing, or Wall Mounted. Every vanity we offer can be found within one of these two, however, to make things a bit easier, we have split vanities into three additional groups: Vessel, Corner, and Lavatory Console. Vanities listed within these three groups can also be found within Floor Standing or Wall Mounted, depending on the method required for installation.

Vanity pricing is widely varied. As a rule of thumb, you get what you pay for, but keep in mind that many of the vanities we carry are sold as the cabinet only, while others are sold as bundles (kits that can include as much as the cabinet, top, sink, faucet, and mirror all as one package). Naturally, bundles cost more than the cabinet alone.

Unless you are ordering a large vanity, you will need to make the decision between doors, drawers, or an open cabinet. Drawers are particularly useful for heavily used bathroom where there will be the need to store dozens of small containers such as make-up and lotions. Doors are better for guest bathrooms where larger items such as towels and cleaning supplies will be stored. Open cabinets provide limited storage, but give bathrooms the appearance of more space.
