A. The Kohler K-T10276-4A can not be modified into a hand held shower. Please take a look at the Kohler K-10286 Traditional MasterClean Four Function Hand Shower Only from the Forte Collection which can be attached to a hose and wall elbow supply.

Kohler shower
This is a high quality product, as all the Kohler products seem to be. I am delighted with it. We used the Alsons 3-way diverter to mount the hand held shower since the space was too small for a separate diverter valve. A cost effective solution as well!

Excellent
Exactly as described. Great value for the money! Hard to go wrong with Kohler. We have done about 20 bathrooms this year with Kohler products and all have been exactly as described. Do your research on valves, though. There are some previous year models that are just as good that you can get at a better price and pay attention to those package deals from your big box retailers (HD and Lowes), they are rarely a good deal if you know what you are doing. Buy what you need and save yourself some money. Often either the valve doesn't come with the fixture and trim kits, or you buy too much and end up with unused parts.

Lovely shower
I had my master bathroom renovated and chose this for the shower. This is a very nice shower head--it has a rain effect. The pressure is distributed well and is very relaxing. The control handle is very sturdy and true and has a good feel. The nickel finish is very nice and upscale. I am having the tub/shower version of the Forte model installed in my hall bathroom next.

Just visited our remodeled condo. The new "Forte" shower faucets are terrific. Look great and function even better.

Looks Sharp - Works Great
Nothing to complain about here. This is as functioal as it is nice looking. I specifically like the minimalist markings on the outside of the mixing valve. Nothing to fade, corode or look crummy over time!
