Seems cheaply made for a Kohler product...
The ends of the bar are made of plastic, NOT metal, so it seems cheaply made for a Kohler product. The main bar itself is made from metal, so that part should last. Just don't use it as a grab bar; I doubt that the plastic ends could take much weight! We had difficulty finding a shower bar holder to fit our narrow (1/2" pipe fitting) European bar-type shower head (that came with a 'Kraus' brand waterfall spout,) but thankfully this shower holder fits it good enough to use easily. (It holds it at the connector valve that attatches to the hand shower, instead of holding it where a human hand would hold it.)
