    A. The Kohler K-9511 is a single function, two way diverter. It will only run the shower head or the hand shower, but not both simultaneously.

    A. The Kohler K-9511 is a showerarm that has a diverter on it to divert water to a handshower. It does not require any rough-in valve.

    A. The Kohler K-9511 weighs about 3 pounds. There is no special caution necessary, it's just a generic shower arm. Nothing special is required for it and it fits any typical 1/2" outlet connection.

High Quality Product The shower arm / diverter is a really heavy piece of brass. Chose this as alternate to the typical twist valve. This look great with my Kohler Fairfax showerhead and Mastershower Hand shower. The diverter is spring loaded - so it returns to shower head when the water is turned off. one work of caution: this is "really" heavy! We were doing a complete bath replacement - and the plumber made sure the shower riser line was well braced. Install could be a problem if there is play in the supply line. June 27, 2011
good product sturdy, well built diverter. it's pull knob diverter versus a turn knob diverter. didn't know that when we purchased it butoverlal works well. October 30, 2009
