How to install the hole cover to be sure that it is sealed so that water may not leak into the cabinet below?
A. Thank you for your question. The Kohler K-8830 covers your faucet hole sink and does not get wet. Just drop it into your sink hole and thread underneath. Plumbers putty or silicon can be used underneath for extra precaution but it's not needed. Hope this helps. Have a great day.

A. The Kohler K-8830 can be used to cover an extra hole on a Kohler Archer sink. Keep in mind that if you are ordering it new you can specify how many holes you want in it when you order (For example: k-2358-1 would be one faucet hole, K-2358-8 would have 3 holes & an 8" center to center, K-2358-4 would have 3 holes & an 4" center to center)
