Is this item solid black or is it another color under the black surface?

I purchased from you a Kohler Bar sink (K8803) and need a sink body to go with it. Will K8804 work for my bar sink. Bar sink is 3 5/8 outlet and sink body is for 3 1/2 or 4" outlet.

Is this a flat or a gloss black? I am looking for matching finishes for both the sink strainer side and the garbage disposal side but need the flat black finish as we bought a black granite composite sink and a bronze brushed faucet. Any help would be appreciated!

why are two of these listed for the Kohler Langlade sink - if I have a disposal do I need two of these??
