Cheap piece of plastic
For the price I paid for this, I expected a solid piece of metal. Buyer beware.

Disappointing for a Kohler Product
The hand shower wall mount broke with very ordinary usage over 5 years--gradually, the hand shower got harder and harder to hang up, until it perpetually slid out and had to be replaced. The product looks sturdy but is of very cheap materials.

I, too, was chagrined to find plastic -- and fairly cheap quality plastic -- is what this part is made out of.

It's not metal, it's plastic
Most Kohler products are heavy metal, but not this one--it's all plastic. I was highly disappointed, especially since it could sustain high usage.
