Do you recommend a specific diverter with this shower head?

What would you recommend the minimum ceiling height to be in the shower when installing a rain shower head?
A. I would not recommend a ceiling mounted shower head on a ceiling that is shorter than 8 foot, or else the shower head will be too close to you. However, it does depend on the height of the person and the length of the shower arm that you use. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

What is the difference between K-8031 and K-8030?

what is maximum ceiling height you can mount
A. The Kohler K-8031 does not have a set maximum height. It's designed to fit any custom bathroom style within reason. Anything higher than say 12 feet may cause water spread to affect performance but would still function adequately. Thanks!
