Kohler Watertile K-8003
Very nice product. I installed 4 of them as part of my new master bathroom shower along with the Kohler DTV system. Any experienced DETAILED-oriented person - contractor or not - can easily install this product. I would have imagined, however, that the install would be easier for a professional ( I happen to be one with 30 years experience), but after reading some of the other Ratings, perhaps I was wrong. One customer said that it took all day for a licensed plumber to install these! I assure you, if you you can move and breath, and you pay attention to how this product is supposed to look when the install is finished, each can be installed in 1 hour even if you break for lunch.
On a side note, I would recommend that the DTV valve assembly be remotely located away from the point of use. It makes enough noise - whirling and clicking sounds - to be annoying to the user who is trying to relax and enjoy their shower. Mine is located in the basement 25 ft away from the shower. You will, however, have to purge all outlet lines - especially the body sprays - before stepping into the shower. Failing to do so will result in cold water from the body sprays when the are activated (since the mixing DTV valve is located away form the point of use). Good luck!

nightmare
purchased this product some time ago for a shower redo. i had the product prior to construction of the shower and followed the directions given with the product percisely or should i say the plumber followed those instructions. after the tile person finished his work the plumber returned and spent a full day trying to get this correctly installed. the product quality is great but the tolerance with the rough in plumbing is crazy. example is plumbing nipples used to install only come in 1/2 inch increments but the install only has allowance for 1/8 to 1/4 variance. the design engineer needs to look at the real world. not recommended by me.

Awesome, Need water pressure and water volume
makes for the coolest bathroom ever. Hard to install and possibly needs a one inch supply and more than 40psi from the city to have enough juice to spray 3 feet and hit you. i have a well with up to 60 and its great there but when at 40 it hardly do much.
