I want the Kohler tub, but the reviews indicate the drain assembly won't stay closed. Has this problem been fixed? Or is their an alternative assembly for the drain?

There have been customers that have had great experiences with this drain and I can respect those who have not. Keep in mind the installation factor and if a qualified installer installed the drain. can't fill my tub!!
no matter what I do, the water doesn't stay in my tub. I press the drain with my foot - that's supposed to close it, right? - and the water drains out - more slowly than if the drain is open, but it still drains out. What gives? !!

not very good drain
this drain doesn't close well at all. it takes 10 attempts to close it. it closes 90% (water still keeps leaking out) and then it takes "special touch" to close it so that no water leaks out. not super happy about that.

Great service
I received the tub waste/overflow assembly two or three business days after I ordered it. That is fast and convenient service. The assembly's fit and finish was exactly as described. This is my second DirectFauct problem-free purchase and I recommend them.

Fast and Perfect
I was able to find this faster on net, get it delivered to my house for less then it would have cost if I even did find it in town. I was trying to get the Archer tub set and had a deadline before my tile guys showed up, this part showed up just in time.

Great product.
I had this put my soaking tub and it is wonderful. I have oil rubbed bronze fixtures and this goes very well with them. Love the pop-up drain. You can push it with your toes to let the water out. :)
