We are remodeling our bathroom and have a tub waste question. Should I use a Kohler K-7160-TF which is brass or the less expensive K-7213 which is PVC?
A. While the K-7213 Tub Waste may be less expensive than the K-7160-TF, the K-7160-TF is adjustable in height. There are many arguments for both brass and PVC in regards to durability. However if the K-7213 is of the proper measurements/dimensions for your project, and pricing is a concern, then the K-7213 will work for you.

I am retro-fitting an old shower/tub combo and the faucets are polished nickel but I forgot to order a matching drain. Will this drain work with an old (1920's era) tub or do I have to buy a vintage-style fixture from someone like Strom?
A. The Kohler K-7160-TF is adjustable between 14.5" and 17" which will work for some if that is your current set up. You want to match your old tub waste as close as possible for height and overflow mounting type. You may also want to look at the Kohler K-7161-AF. It is more adjustable and the mounting type is a 2 screw.

Kohler tub waste in Brushed Bronze
We are very pleased with the Kohler line and the brushed brass finish. The color is between gold and light copper, it is not really shiny as the finish is brushed. It looks very elegant. You can not go wrong with a Kohler product.

Kohler Lifetime Limited Warranty
Kohler Co. warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.* If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.
Kohler also warrants all other aspects of the faucet, except gold finish, to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her own home. If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment.
