Nice Design but Poor Drainage
I bought this drain assembly to go with some Kohler Bolero stainless steel sinks, and they look great installed. Problem is that they do not drain very well. I don't know if maybe they are just too new or something, but water sometimes will just stop flowing through the slits. You can see a trapped bubble of air under the drain grill that prevents any more water going down.
This is a problem especially if you want good flow to wash everything down. Don't get me wrong, the water does eventually drain away but at a snails pace most of the time. I've tried soap to help break the water's surface tension, but that doesn't help.
I chose this drain because of it's classy decorative design grill, and now I'm regreting it as I have to replace it with something else that hopefully will drain better.
