Double Basin Smart Divide Cast Iron Kitchen Sink from the Langlade Series

beautiful white sink
I found this sink by accident after returning an acrylic that showed indentation from my thumbnail! I was afraid that cast iron might be too heavy for my formica counter tops but the plumber confirmed that it would hold with just a little shoring up in the weakest area. Have had it only a week now but so far I just love it. It is a great looking sink. The curves on the faucet side add an element of style. The low divider saddle make it like a one basin sink for space but enough depth to fill a side if needed. I had read reviews from Home depot that while it is guaranteed not to chip, crack or burn, it will scratch. I don't know what they did to theirs but I make sure I have a plastic protector when I am going to be washing a heavy pot or item that might scratch. Hopefully this won't be a problem because it's a lovely addition to my kitchen with the Delta faucet that was installed with it.
