A terrific accessory...
We love these things and bought them for another Kohler sink. They protect the surface and are easy to just pull out and clean as needed. There are little plastic-coated feet that hold it about 1/2" above the surface, so stuff flows under it fine.
My only disappointment (though minor or picky) is that this one only came in white, whereas the other 2 we bought for the other kitchen sink were stainless... and we might have liked to match them all. On the other hand, this one disappears better.

The stainless sink basin rack is perfect. It matches the stainless sink, is easy to put in the dishwasher, and looks nice.
