Good looking item
Perfect fit for my sink. Does the job it's intended to do: Keeps my sink free from scratches. And it looks good!

Very good product
The basin rack fits perfectly in our Kohler sink. It is very helpful in protecing the floor of the sink from scratches and in protecting dishes from hard contact with the cast iron sink. It looks good in the sink too. But, I did not rate the product as excellent only because the coating on the rack does not last. This is our third rack in about five years.

Does the job, but....
I have same issues as person who wrote in Oct. of 2009. I have ordered 4 of these basin racks over time. The original 2 came from my plumbing contractor and they are NOT cheap. I am about to order my 5th as nicks and cuts and rust spots are making the current one look nasty. I have a biscuit colored Lakefield sink and would like to order a stainless basin rack to try to overcome this coating deterioration issue, but really don't want to have that glaring contrast show up at the bottom of the sink. And although I bleach the sink bottom every now and then, and carefully clean food and other residue from the bottom of the sink, the foot tabs on the basin rack cause a darker discoloration on the sink bottom. What to do?? Maybe pick a different kind of sink the next time around.

Perfect Fit
The basin rack it perfect Its sturdy and it fits my sink perfectly. So far the finish is unblemished. Hopefully it will stay that way.

I have been looking for a basin rack to fit this not exactly rectangular sink forever. I didn't realize that Kohler made one. It fits exactly, of course, with the hole in the exact right place

Lovely Combo
Purchased this rack to sit next to the K-6511 rack in the other sink. It finishes this sink beautifully and adds an extra level of functionality. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Love this product. Do not have to be extra careful with hot pans anymore. Easy to clean, just put in the dishwasher.

Good for new, not old Lakefield
We purchased a new Lakefield sink after 20 years of satisfaction with the old one, but wanted a color change. We thought we would use this sink protector in the time before the plumber made the swap, but unfortunately, though it is the exact same model from Kohler (other than color) the casting size has changed a little bit. The new sink protector does not fit the old sink. It does fit the new one though, so all is good. Just don't try it for a replacement on an older unit.

Like the product...one complaint!
This is the exact basin rack that I have purchased from you for the fourth time. I really like the product; totally like your service but my question to you is, why does the "coating" come off so fast? It seems like I order a rack once a year. They get rusty where the coating comes off and it starts to look bad. I am super careful never to set a hotpan or any hot item directly on the rack and. It seems that there's one particular spot where the water hits where it wears out the fastest. I'm basically the only one that uses the sink and I am very careful. I just wished they held up better for the price as it gets to be expensive when you have to continually be replacing them. I do think your service is wonderful and have complaints at all. I also like the product, just wish it could be improved on. Thank you.

Makes all the difference in keeping a white porcelan sink clean. Also makes breakage of glassware and china almost impossible. Ordered an extra one for a spare in case Kohler stops making them.

Kohler Lifetime Limited Warranty
Kohler Co. warrants its faucets to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her home.* If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will, free of charge, mail to the purchaser the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.
Kohler also warrants all other aspects of the faucet, except gold finish, to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his/her own home. If a defect is found in normal residential use, Kohler Co. will (at its election) repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment. Damage to a product caused by accident, misuse, or abuse is not covered by this warranty.
