I already have this sink. Can I resuse it for an under-tile installation?
A. While the Kohler K-5924-2 is designed for a Drop-In style installation, with the proper work, it could be tiled over, which would require some recessed sink work. You should consult your contractor before attempting this installation.

Can A drop in sink later be mounted as an undermount?

THE DIAMOND OF MY KITCHEN
i have been fortunate to have purchased two of the lakefield sinks. my first was a deep turquoise. absolutely stunning with my new kitchen which had cream color cabinets. i recieved so many compliments on it. i wanted to take with me when we moved but alas husband said no. i have now another of the same, almost as gorgeous. its called salt and pepper. i also have a small white bar type sink in my island kohler. they stay beautiful. always look new and shiny. mine is now 10 yrs old. when we move again i will get another. i dont have granite countertops but i have had 3 beautiful kohler sinks. would much rather than granite counters.
